Our Country,Chile is located at the southwestern part of South America and includes a long, narrow strip of land known as continental Chile, between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes, which stretches between 17 ° 29'57 S and 56 º 32 'S latitude (Diego Ramirez Islands), bordered on the north by Peru, on the east by Bolivia and Argentina, and on the south by the Drake Passage. There are, in addition, some island territories in the Pacific Ocean,an archipielago called Juan Fernández ,some islands such as Desventuradas Islands, Sala and Gómez Island and Easter Island; the last two ones located in Polynesia with a total area of 755 miles ².
